TE MATATINI 2019 - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
WMCS invite you to register your interest to be a volunteer for Te Matatini 2019.
You can do this by sending me your name (real name, not fb name), contact number and email address either via PM or email: pohatu98@gmail.com. WMCS will hold a hui for all volunteers on Sunday 24 June, 1pm at Naenae College where further information and volunteer roles will be discussed in-depth. Volunteers are a crucial part of ensuring our event is successful therefore we are looking for committed people who are keen to be a part of this massive Māori event.

Thousands turned out to parade from the Wellington railway station to Te Papa for the beginning of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.

Te Whanganui-ā-Tara are experiencing challenging but exciting times as we near the hosting of Te Matatini 2019 beginning with the handover of the mauri. We have a new team for the upcoming Nationals and look forward to growing Kapa Haka for the future.

Haka Volunteers 2018
Organisers are on the hunt for volunteers to assist with the smooth and successful running of the biennial Kapa Haka competition HAKA IN THE PARK 2018!. Volunteers are an integral part of Haka in the Park being hosted at Te Whiti Park in 2018.
